The Adventurer Sam & Max Comics are short Sam & Max Comic Series ran by Steve Purcell, from 1990 to 1996.
Description[]
A series of Sam & Max comics were made for LucasArts' promotional magazine The Adventurer from 1990 through 1996. They are all single-page, fully colored comics loosely related to LucasArts' then-recent games (eg Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Full Throttle, several Star Wars ones). Most have been reprinted in The Collected Sam & Max: Surfin' the Highway.
Some of the comics were voiced over by Max's Cartoon voice actor Rob Tinkler. The following list is:
- Nice Tableau, Star Wars (1992)
- Just another Star Wars Parody (1994)
- Star Wars Race (1992)

Trivia[]
- The Adventurer Comic Series was so popular with LucasArts' fans and employees around the time, which led to LucasArts deciding to give Sam & Max their own video game, Hit The Road. This means that the Adventurer Comic series led to the iconic Point & Click Games we know of today.
