Sal Manella is the grocer and clerk at the Slothmart Grocery World in the Comics and Animated Series.
Character Description[]
According to the Animated Series bible, Sal Manella is a busybody neighbor who thinks he's the source of all neighborhood knowledge. He's a big conspiracy theorist who calls on the Freelance Police a lot.
He first appears in Beast from the Cereal Aisle where he calls on the duo to help with The Beast terrorizing his store.
He later appears in the animated series episode, The Glazed McGuffin Affair where he is the one to tell Sam & Max that their beloved Glazed McGuffins have been recalled.

- While he is never named in the comics or cartoon, he is named Sal Manella in the series bible -along with a longer description of his personality.
- It's possible his conspiracy theorist personality in the Series Bible later inspired Bosco's character.
