I can see you!

Character Detail

I CAN SEE YOU!

I CAN SEE YOU!

Peepers is named for his big eyes, which he occasionally draws attention to with his tagline: "I can see you". His high-pitched voice was a hit with audiences, but it often drove many of his coworkers to alcoholism. Eventually, the director stopped bringing Peepers in to loop missing dialogue, getting the needed lines by simply scraping his fingernails over a chalkboard. Sometime after the show went off the air, Peepers' trademark line was taken the wrong way in he said it in a girls' locker room while working as a gym coach in a catholic school. In What's new, Beelzebub?, Peepers tricks Sybil into being attracted to him, but she snaps out of it when it turns out that he was using a disguise when Sam reveal his real name to be "Dick Peacock."

Appearance

Peepers is a 3-foot tall man with freckles, a shaved beard and an annoying voice. He is known for a big part of his anatomy which is none other than his large blue eyes. He is blond and has a bowl cut.

Peepers, convincing Sam & Max that he is Sybil Pandemik.

Peepers is completely brainwashed by Brady Culture and he thinks he is our favorite psychotherapist with various careers: Sybil Pandemik. Of course that's not the case, he's none other than our dear big eyed soda popper Peepers. Later, Peepers appears on the "Embarrassing Idol" TV show as a singer. He almost win it but Sam defeats him when the latter got both the votes of Max and Specs. It makes him very upset and he says he'll get Specs for it (if this is the last thing he does), but only after he got back from Mount Rushmore.

In 104, we learn that Peepers has won elections and is now the governor of North Dakota, the left-over state. Later, he and Specs go to war because the latter thought his idea of adding Hoover hugging the other four president was stupid, which makes Peepers very furious and he then calls Specs a "Four-eyed freak".

In 106 during the credits, Peepers can be seen surfing on the DeSoto.

Beyond Time and Space (Season Two)

Peepers as he tries to Conceive a new hellspawn.

Peepers, along with his brothers, went to the North Pole to return their presents to Santa because they were not satisfied with them. The present he received was tuberculosis, a potentially serious infectious disease that mainly affects the lung. During the whole episode, he and his brothers do not want to enter Santa's workshop because they hear gunshots. At the end of the episode, Peepers and his brothers send the possessed Santa Claus to Satan and wish a Merry Christmas to Sam and Max.

In the final episode, Episode 205, Peepers' cute and innocent side takes a whole different turn. His goal being to conceive a "hellspawn", he then goes to try to seduce Sybil Pandemik. One of his demonic powers is to shapeshift, turning himself into a sexier version of him. He has a mullet haircut, a mustache, bed eyes, a v-neck t-shirt, belt and blue jeans. His voice is not high-pitched anymore and is the complete opposite: a very deep, sensual voice. His powers are so strong that even Sam thinks he's kinda sexy. His plan fails when he asks Sybil to say his name and Sam answers "Hey, Dick Peacock!" , causing Peepers to scream in agony. Later, he reveals his demon form (which is none other than the exact same outfit as Whizzers' demon form), it is revealed he can shoot blue, powerful lasers from his eyes. Later, he and his brothers fight against Satan as well as against Sam and Max. He is defeated when Sam brings them a cake and the three of them blow out the candles. Peepers, along with his brothers, falls into the pit of hell and seemingly dies while melting in the lava. Only his eyes survived.

The Devil's Playhouse (Season Three)

While Peepers doesn't physically appear at all thought out Season Three -nor do the rest of the Poppers, a recording of Peepers' iconic "I Can See You" is heard in the finale, Episode 305, being used as a shield to keep the Max Spores out of BoscoTech Labs. Sam mentions that the noise was subconsciously driving him into a murderous rage.

Relationships

Specs and Whizzer

Peepers seems to have no problem with Whizzer. However, with Specs it is quite the opposite. The two don't get along very well. Peepers is angry with Specs when he doesn't vote for him in 103 and later, in 104 he calls the latter "Four-eyed freak" when he learns Specs thinks his idea of having Hoover hugging the other four presidents in Mount Rushmore is stupid. Despite this, they still stay very close.

Sam and Max

Like his brothers, Peepers hates Sam and Max. He particularly hates Sam for ruining everything with Sybil.
