Kent Standit is a one-time villain of The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police.
Description[]
As head of the Snack Food and Drug Administration, Kent Standit has made it his mission to deprive children of perennial kids' favorite foods. Of course, he made one fatal mistake - recalling Glazed McGuffins (Which he has never even tasted). After that, he spends the whole day being harassed by Sam and Max as they try to get him to change his mind and try a McGuffin. Afterwards, he finally snaps and tries to kill the duo at the McGuffin Factory and turn THEM into McGuffin. He ends up being force-fed a McGuffin... and ends up loving them. He lifts the ban, but plans to put a new ban on Pizza Poultices... but runs for the hills when he learns that Sam and Max love Pizza Poultices too.
Trivia[]
- His name is an obvious pun on the phrase "Can't stand it" -which is fitting given his impatient, hateful nature.
- His whole character arc is considered a parody of Dr. Seuss' "Green Eggs and Ham" with Sam and Max being his own personal Sam-I-Am -he even briefly mentions the actual character[1].
