Herzog is your typical criminal, seeking to escape the Alcatraz-esque prison he is held in and acting in an aggressive manner befitting his deranged appearance. He arranges a prison break, only to be detained by Sam, Max, and Ruth -with a little help from Santa Claus.
The Final Episode:[]
Herzog later returns in the series finale, The Final Episode, teaming up with Mack Salmon, Lactose the Intolerant, the The Uglions' High Ruler, Deadly Dangly Deever, and The Mad Thespian to hopefully destroy Sam & Max once and for all. He, along with the Mad Thespian, were the first to be booted off the plane by Sam and Max.
