Girl Stinky is the proprietor of Stinky's Diner in Sam & Max Season Two, and an antagonist in The Devil's Playhouse.

Character detail[]

Sam & Max remember the old Stinky well but haven't met Girl Stinky prior to Ice Station Santa, and they quickly start to suspect that she is only pretending to be his granddaughter and actually murdered him for some reason. Her general spoiledness and her tendency to brag about all the famous people she supposedly met don't help her credibility much either. Still, in the end it turns out that she was telling the truth all along (at least about her grandfather, anyway).

In What's new, Beelzebub?, old man Stinky reveals that unknown to her, she isn't actually human: she is really an invention of his called The Cake of the Damned (the true form of which is a cake).

In The City That Dares Not Sleep, this is revealed to have been an elaborate bluff by Stinky done using a slide projector[1]. However, she has been thwarted time and again to take over Grandpa Stinky's restaurant and eventually escapes with Skun-ka'pe to another world during Max's rampage on the city. They were both killed by Max's self-sacrifice using his psychic powers to teleport through Girl Stinky's cell phone.

Appearance[]

Girl Stinky has a thin, tall form with white skin, pink lips, aqua-colored hair and eyes. She wears a violet shirt, violet heeled shoes, light purple pants, a mermaid apron, golden bracelets on each rist, a golden tiara, sea shell earrings, and a sand dollar necklace with pearls. She once wore aqua socks.

Personality[]

Girl Stinky is busy, aware, and dishonest, and she is constantly on her phone.

Relationships[]

Sam[]

In Season 2, Sam and Max met Girl Stinky. She even mistake their names. At first they thought Stinky killed Grandpa Stinky but turns out it was all a misunderstanding. On Sam & Max The Devil's Playhouse E4 Beyond the Alley of the Dolls, Stinky lies about "Mr. S" being Sam and preparing for Grandpa Stinky's birthday. After Grandpa Stinky leaves, Flint asks Girl Stinky why Sam calls her "my queen" in the mysterious letter as she replies that she and Sam have "carried on a love affair" and then kisses Sam lip-to-lip leaving him paused in surprise.

Max[]

Max is usually the first to question Stinky's dishonesty (Whether he's right or not), but Stinky usually just brushes him off.

Sal[]

Stinky and Sal were in a somewhat-romantic love affair. Though whether Stinky truly loved Sal or just wanted to use him as a pawn is never made clear.

Grandpa Stinky[]

She was Grandpa Stinky's protégé, but would later masquerade as his granddaughter. Seemingly, Grandpa Stinky created her from a spell used on his "Cake of the Damned recipe. During Season Two, it looked like she genuinely tried to murder her "Grandpa", it turns out (Plot twist!!!) that she was telling the truth about Stinky's actual death. However, during Season Three, it becomes obvious that she actually DOES want Grandpa Stinky dead; and that his "Cake of the Damned" spell never actually worked.

General Skun-ka'pe[]

Skun-ka'pe fell in love with Girl Stinky. Stinky doesn't return the affection, but is not above using the lovestruck ape to further her goals.

Trivia[]

  • In her original concept art, she had what looked like a seashell bra over her shirt -an obvious homage to Ariel from The Little Mermaid.
