Bosco's Inconvenience was a corner store run by Bosco, and by Ms. Bosco before that. It was previously known as "Bosco's Guns, Liquor, and Baby Needs". It's on the corner of Straight and Narrow.
History[]
Hit the Road[]
Bosco's appears Sam & Max Hit the Road as "Bosco's Guns, Liquor, and Baby Needs". If Sam and Max go into the store, they stop an armed robbery off-screen.
Save the World[]
Bosco's business style Was based on overcharging for items so he can afford to build and maintain his elaborate, high-tech, homemade security systems. He was also known for selling his personal brand of "BoscoTech equipment," which were generally rudimentary at best but cost extraordinary amounts of money (like a hundred million dollars for a "Truth Serum" (which turned out to be a bottle of vodka).
Beyond Time and Space[]
At some point between Seasons One and Two, Bosco uses the money he made selling his BoscoTech items to Sam & Max to equip his store with even better security measures and various detection apparatus. He also covers the windows in aluminum foil, dims the lighting to a red glow and stops selling things. This is mostly because of his newfound fear of being abducted by T.H.E.M. (which turns out to be justified as they do abduct him sometime between Moai Better Blues and the end of Night of the Raving Dead). We also find out that Bosco's mother was the original owner of the store, where she sold actual guns, liquors, and baby needs -and even a baby-making machine for anyone who wanted their own test tube baby.
The Devil's Playhouse[]
In The Devil's Playhouse, the store was locked up when Bosco left town without saying goodbye. Ms. Bosco's ghost chose to haunt her new Boscotech Labs since the Store isn't zoned for mixed-use haunting (And because according to her, not EVERYTHING has to happen on Sam and Max's street).
This Time It's Virtual[]
In This Time It's Virtual, it is shown that Bosco's Inconvenience is being replaced with a new cupcake store. simply called Let Them Eat Cupcake.
